Collège Central Jounieh in Lebanon has chosen Skoolee Tools web-based software from White Mountain Technologies for its school management and student information system.
Reverend Fr. Wadih Al Skayem, Rector of Collège Central Jounieh and author, is an avid supporter of integrating technology into Lebanon’s schools. His school, a private Catholic institution established by the Lebanese Maronite Order (l'Ordre Libanais Maronite) in 1966, enrolls over 2300 students.

Salem Saab Publishes in IEEE Journal

White Mountain Technologies developer, Salem Saab, has co-authored an article in the January - March 2009 IEEE Transactions on Services Computing journal, Volume 2, Number 1.
Entitled 'A Distributed System for Consuming Web Services and Caching Their Responses in MANETs', the article was published with Dr. Hassan Artail of the American University of Beirut (AUB) School of Engineering, Department of Computer & Communications Engineering.
Salem joined White Mountain Technologies in July 2007 and has been instrumental in the development of school and university software systems for the Middle East education sector.
Salem is currently developing extensive modules for BaseCamp Learning Management System, to include a 9-country Payroll module and a full Human Resources (HR) Management module.
Salem received his ME degree in Computer & Communications Engineering from the American University of Beirut in 2006 with a focus on mobile computing.
During his undergraduate, he emphasized telecommunications, earning a BE degree from Beirut Arab University in Lebanon in 2004.

Antonine Sisters School Ghazir Implements Skoolee Tools

Antonine Sisters School in Ghazir, Lebanon has implemented Skoolee Tools School Management and Student Information Software. Sister Dominique, Principal, selected Skoolee Tools with a long-term view to elevate education and school administration.
The decision furthers Antonine Sisters School mission of "innovative education". Founded in 1981, the school offers over 2300 students a trilingual Arabic-French-English curriculum, culminating in the Lebanese Baccalaureate. The school is located five kilometers from Jounieh.
“We took one year to prepare for Skoolee,” says Amal Tannous, Program Director. “It was our opportunity to reorganize how we work, to become innovative as we could as a school administration. So we clarified our business processes and restructured our Computer Department as first steps before installing Skoolee Tools.”
Skoolee Tools, developed by White Mountain Technologies, uses a systematic and personalized approach to implement the software. It first aligns with schools’ specific education rules and uses actual data to populate the system. This allows schools to standardize daily activities, making them quicker and more accurate in real time.
