White Mountain Technologies developer, Salem Saab, has co-authored an article in the January - March 2009 IEEE Transactions on Services Computing journal, Volume 2, Number 1.
Entitled 'A Distributed System for Consuming Web Services and Caching Their Responses in MANETs', the article was published with Dr. Hassan Artail of the American University of Beirut (AUB) School of Engineering, Department of Computer & Communications Engineering. Salem joined White Mountain Technologies in July 2007 and has been instrumental in the development of school and university software systems for the Middle East education sector.
Salem is currently developing extensive modules for BaseCamp Learning Management System, to include a 9-country Payroll module and a full Human Resources (HR) Management module.
Salem received his ME degree in Computer & Communications Engineering from the American University of Beirut in 2006 with a focus on mobile computing.
During his undergraduate, he emphasized telecommunications, earning a BE degree from Beirut Arab University in Lebanon in 2004.
